Emerging technologies are creating new rules for businesses and transforming the entire energy industry at an unprecedented pace. IOGP is delivering a roadmap that will allow IOGP Members to navigate through the numerous opportunities and challenges ahead.

Our mission is to realize greater value to IOGP members and wider industry, simplify work processes with our partners and enable a more efficient energy transition by leveraging all that digital has to offer.

Our challenge as an industry is to standardize the data foundation that enables our ecosystems to become more reliable and repeatable in its delivery.

Material Digital Passport (MDP)

The Material Digital Passport (MDP) aims to track asset lifecycle in a secured and transparent way through a unique digital space. Each physical equipment will hold a unique MDP that can be initialized by asset providers, verified by anyone and used to improve business workflows.
