IOGP and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) hosted a joint technical webinar dedicated to the standardisation and automation of seismic data.
This session will provided a high-level overview of the SEG-Y v2.1 format and demonstrate how embedding structured metadata such as the IOGP P6/11 format enables automation and overcomes the limitations of traditional EBCDIC header records.
