CO₂-Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) links carbon capture with oil recovery, offering both emissions reduction and energy security benefits. Yet, ensuring permanent CO₂ storage, verifying net climate gains, and addressing economic and technical barriers remain essential to realizing its potential.
