Description
The purpose of this specification is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the procurement of low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies in accordance with IEC 61439-1, Edition 3, May 2020 and IEC 61439-2, Edition 3.0, July 2020, Corrigendum 1, 2021 for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.
The IOGP S-560 specification documents follow a common structure comprising a specification, also known as a technical requirements specification (TRS), a procurement datasheet (PDS), an information requirements specification (IRS) and a quality requirements specification (QRS). These four specification documents, together with the purchase order, define the overall technical specification for procurement.
