Description
This document is a supplement to IOGP Report 432, Managing HSE in a Geophysical Contract, also available from this website.
IOGP Report 510 lists ‘risk management’ as one of the four fundamentals. Risk management must be integrated throughout the management system and present in the cycle of design, development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement.
The geophysical industry has static hazards and risks that are inherent to its assets and operational activities. It needs to be managed and controlled to a tolerable level of residual risk.
