The series aims to help align industry practices and activities, inform stakeholders, and serve as a communication tool to promote awareness and education. shoreline impact occurs, or is likely to occur, shoreline assessment is a critical component of the response programme and provides essential information for setting objectives, priorities, constraints and end points for an effective shoreline response.
