Description

Multiple casualty incidents, resulting from events such as natural disasters, construction and structural failures, may have the capacity to overwhelm personnel, equipment and facilities in an oil and gas operation. The Multiple casualty planning and preparation checklist provides a practical form of guidance which aids medical and operational personnel to assess and improve preparedness to manage multiple casualty events. Through a series of Yes/No answers, the checklist guides the user through the key elements which need to be considered when developing a medical emergency response plan, such as communications, on and off-site facilities, training and drills and risk assessment.
