Description
This Report contains Member Company-submitted process safety performance data and is part of IOGP’s annual data series. Participating IOGP Member Companies were asked to report the number of offshore and onshore Tier 1 and Tier 2 PSE for both drilling and production, consequences relating to Tier 1 and Tier 2 PSE and additional information about the material released and the operational activities at the time of the release. The Process Safety Event (PSE) data presented in this report are based on the numbers of Tier 1 and Tier 2 PSE reported by participating IOGP Member Companies, broken down for:
- onshore and offshore
- drilling and production
- activities
- consequences
- material released
The Tier 1 and Tier 2 data presented have been normalized against reported work hours associated with drilling and production activities to provide PSE rates.
