Description
IOGP’s Methane Reporting Task Force has undertaken a study comparing the different methane emissions measurement methodologies and emission factors for upstream oil and gas operations proposed by different regulators and countries including the United Kingdom Environmental and Emissions Monitoring System, Norway, Netherlands, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and Australia. The Report aims to help facilitate the understanding of differences in values of emission factors across countries.
