Description
The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a rapid shift from in-person well control instruction to online courses. This enabled IOGP to study the impact of virtual learning on well control competency. Using test results, simulator experiences, and a survey of over 500 students and instructors, IOGP identified opportunities for blending in-person and virtual training in well control courses.
