ISO to publish first standard under the new IOGP Standards Solution

ISO/TS 16530-2, Well integrity in the operational phase is the first standard to be released by ISO  under the new IOGP Standards Solution.

IOGP and the participating operators jointly contributed approximately 800 individual work days to ensure the standard’s successful publication. Participants were BP, Centrica, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ENI, HES, Maersk Oil, Shell, Statoil, Total, Tullow Oil and Woodside.

With restrictions in place on API and ISO standard-sharing, IOGP provides a platform for ISO work under the IOGP Standards Solution to continue the work of the next part of the well integrity standard.
