IOGP’s Standards Committee ended its busiest year ever with a meeting in Perth, Western Australia. The 2018 review encompassed the JIP33 procurement specification for equipment and packages, the offshore structure specifications initiative, working the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Unified Bulk JIP efforts to internationalize their documents, Information standards work and recent activities of the Requirements Digitilization Task Force.
“We also reviewed the highlights of the 2019 Business Plan, which had been previously approved at IOGP’s EGM,” says Committee Manager Alf Reidar Johansen. Following the meeting, which was hosted by Woodside Energy and National Energy Resources Australia, participants went to join the ISO/TC67 Plenary meeting to discuss International Standards for the oil & gas industry and a standards workshop for the Australian oil & gas industry drawing.
