IOGP welcomes Sajeev Menon as the Association’s new Standards Manager. Sajeev will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IOGP Standards Committee, assigned Subcommittees, Task Forces, Networks and Joint Industry Programmes (JIPs).
Sajeev has a background in mechanical engineering and has been active in the oil and gas industry for more than 20 years, having lived and worked in India, the UAE, Malaysia, South Korea, and the UK. In his last role, Sajeev was Project Manager for the subsea scope of BP’s Clair South project. You will learn more about Sajeev and IOGP’s work in standards in the next Pulse edition.
Iskren Kirilov joins us as Senior Manager Institutional Relations, dealing mainly with representing IOGP in front of EU regulatory authorities and external stakeholders. He is responsible for strengthening our position and defining and implementing advocacy strategies in order to defend our Members’ interests at the EU level. Prior to this, Iskren worked for more than ten years for several EU institutions and agencies.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from the University of Sofia and a master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from the Diplomatic School of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. Passionate about the concept of life-long learning, he has recently completed a PhD in Science and Technology for Innovation at the University of Cagliari. Welcome, Iskren!
