The IOGP Outstanding Young Professional Award (OYPA)

Seven outstanding talents have been shortlisted as finalists for the 2020 IOGP Outstanding Young Professional Award (OYPA). Nominations were submitted from senior leaders of over 20 companies, with candidates representing all seven of IOGP’s operating regions. The Awards Committee, consisting of executives from the world’s leading upstream and contractor companies, has worked to categorise the nominees based on their leadership, innovation, and impact. “This years’ submissions have been of an extremely high calibre”, Ed Walsingham, Business and Strategy Manager at IOGP said, “and our finalists have shown unrivalled commitment to excellence both inside and outside of the workplace.”

This year’s winner will be announced at the Virtual SPE Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability Conference in Bogota, Columbia, on 28th July 2020. In the meantime, don’t forget to have a look at the videos profiling each of the finalists.
