IOGP is delighted to welcome the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited as its newest Member.
NNPC is Nigeria’s state-owned oil company and a dynamic global energy enterprise with operations across the full spectrum of the energy value chain. From upstream exploration to gas processing, refining, transportation, and new energy initiatives, NNPC plays a central role in delivering energy to meet both domestic and international demand.
NNPC’s Member Representative to IOGP is Bala Wunti, Chief Health, Safety and Environment Officer at NNPC.
NNPC’s addition strengthens IOGP’s presence in West Africa and brings valuable insight from one of the region’s most influential national oil companies. It also reflects NNPC’s commitment to global collaboration and leadership on shared industry priorities such as methane emissions mitigation, operational safety, and the energy transition.
