IOGP welcomes Pemex

IOGP is delighted to welcome Pemex to the Association.

Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) is a fully integrated, Mexican state-owned, petroleum company. Its activities cover exploration, production, industrial processing/refining, logistics and marketing.

Pemex carries out extensive exploration and extraction projects every year, generating approximately 1.8 million barrels per day of liquid hydrocarbons, 3.8 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas, 0.9 million barrels per day of refined products, and 0.6 million tons of petrochemicals. It has 7 refineries, 6 petrochemical complexes and 9 gas processing complexes. PEMEX has a highly skilled workforce and employs 136,801 people.

Its Member Representative to IOGP is Eduardo Melo Flores, Deputy Director of Performance Evaluation and Continuous Improvement.
