IOGP welcomes new Decommissioning Manager
On 1 March, Siew Ping Teo joined IOGP as the Association’s new Decommissioning Manager.
In this role, she will manage and drive the activities of the Decommissioning Committee towards its goal of being the ‘global voice of decommissioning’, actively lead the sharing of international experience and good practice, and influence the development of decommissioning policy worldwide through regulatory advocacy activities and stakeholder engagement. Originally from Brunei, Ping is a structural and project engineer and comes to us with 15 years of experience with Shell, and seven years in lead decommissioning roles for onshore and offshore decommissioning projects in Brunei and New Zealand. She holds an Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
