IOGP, Ipieca, and OSRL are once again joining forces for IOSC 2024!
IOGP, Ipieca, and IOGP are hosting a joint booth at IOSC 2024, similar to their joint engagement at Interspill and Spillcon.
The International Oil Spill Conference (IOSC), which runs from 13 to 16 May in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, facilitates an international exchange of information and ideas on spill prevention, planning, preparedness, response, restoration, protocols, education, research and development, and technology. Its primary aim is to foster global sharing of best practices and lessons learned from oil spill incidents.
Prevention, preparedness, and response remain paramount in our industry, and IOSC 2024 presents ample opportunities to glean insights from key stakeholders in the spill response community.
In the event of a subsea well blowout, effective response and control measures are essential to minimize environmental impact and protect human life. IOGP works collaboratively with industry partners, regulators, and other stakeholders to develop and promote best practices, standards, and capabilities for subsea well response and source control.
Diana Khatun, IOGP’s Senior Manager for Subsea & Wells will be in attendance. Please drop by the booth to say hello and to find out more information about IOGP’s work on Subsea Well Response & Source Control.
We look forward to seeing you at IOSC 2024. For registration and more information please visit https://www.iosc.org/
