The IOGP Geomatics 11th Industry Day, co-hosted by IOGP, bp, and Shell, highlighted the importance of the geomatics discipline in an ever-evolving industry.
With keynote addresses by Miranda Jones, VP HSSE & Carbon for bp, and Syrie Crouch, VP CCS at Shell and presentations from industry experts, it showcased the role that Geomatics plays in the energy transition. Presentations topics included CCS and renewable energy, securing our licence to operate through the use of remote sensing, innovations in operations and environmental monitoring, asset digitalization, development of technical specifications and standardization.
