International Energy Week will highlight successful examples of energy transition 

This year’s International Energy Week features a range of high-profile speakers from across the energy sector, discussing key issues that are crucial for a just energy transition.

Iman Hill, CEO of IOGP, will speak on the IE Week Case Study Panel: Global Change – Successful Examples of How to Transition. The panel will discuss the state of energy access in Africa, how some countries in the Middle East are redefining sustainable energy, and other examples from Brazil to the North Sea.

Iman will be joined by Peter Godfrey FEI, Managing Director Asia Pacific, Energy Institute; Mark Thomas, CEO, Nogaholding; Elbia Gannoum, President, Brazilian Wind Energy Association (ABEEólica); Stuart Payne, Chief Executive, North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA); and Roger Thompson Brown, Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director, Seplat.

Other debates at International Energy Week will discuss challenges in achieving energy security and the energy transition.
