The IOGP Geomatics Committee would like to receive industry feedback on its Land Survey Data Model (LSDM).
The IOGP Geomatics Committee developed the Land Survey Data Model (LSDM) [Land Survey Data Model package] as an industry data format for the delivery, storage, and management of land survey data. It provides a consistent approach to spatial visualisation, data sharing, and integration through predefined entities and attributes. The LSDM helps companies address challenges in managing survey data and in exchanging and sharing data externally with partners, regulators, and other stakeholders, particularly where land surveys involve a wide variety of file types and formats.
It has created a short questionnaire to better understand the value of the LSDM to you, who is using it, and how it is being applied. This is also an opportunity for you to provide comments and suggestions on how the LSDM can be improved and to help influence its future development.
