Description

IOGP Report 2014s

Every year, we collect safety data on worldwide exploration and production (E&P) operations, onshore and offshore, including incidents involving member companies and their contractor employees. Data are entered into the industry’s largest database of safety performance, the IOGP safety database. Our annual safety reports provide trend analysis, benchmarking, and they identify areas and activities where efforts can bring about the greatest improvements in performance.

Results for these key indicators are analysed by region, function and company:

  • number of fatalities
  • fatal accident rate
